Jesus Is Lord
Jesus is Lord.
“Why do you call him Lord?” -Luke 6. Can you come before God today with a clear conscious and a pure heart and say I rightly call you Lord because I do all the things You say? We cannot just make claims “LORD LORD” but when examined and watched we see that the behavior betrays the claim. Are we doing what our Lord has said to do? Jesus says “not everyone who says Lord Lord will enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my father, who is in heaven.” -Matthew 7:21. Jesus says do what I tell you to do then you have the right to call me Lord. Remember, taking the Lords name in vain, is not narrowed down to only profaning Him through words, but also by making a claim and exhibiting a hypocritical life. In order to call Him Lord, we must have a heart of obedience to all that Jesus says. If He is your Lord, where is His honor?
